Dr. Gordon has a strong love of Dentistry and how it can help people live with a better quality of life. The ability to enjoy food and have the confidence from a nice smile creates a longer, healthier life.
Periodontics is unique in that the specialty addresses the core foundation of the teeth and, if necessary, implant tooth replacement. You cannot build a beautiful house without considering the foundation that will support it.
Dr. Marc Gordon obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Hofstra University graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Gordon went on to Tufts School of Dental Medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed a two year specialty program in Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Gordon has additional advanced training in the area of Implant Therapy to replace missing or hopeless teeth.
To ease patient care, Dr. Gordon obtained Certification for Oral Sedation. Dr. Gordon was one of the first 100 NJ dentists to obtain this certification to allow safe and effective administration of drugs to reduce patient anxiety in a comfortable atmosphere.
Dr. Gordon is the Chief of Periodontal Services at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey. For the last 20 years, he has donated his time with lectures and clinical teaching at the dental residency program at Monmouth Medical Center. In addition, he lectures to other dental professionals in the area of Periodontics and Implant dentistry.
Dr. Gordon updates his knowledge and skills through continuing education courses throughout the country from the finest specialists in the world. This dedication is all for your benefit.
Dr. Gordon was nominated in 2009 and in 2010 as one of “New Jersey's Top Dentist in Periodontics” by his peers based on an independent poll of over 6000 NJ dentists.
Dr. Gordon is a native of New Jersey and shares his life with his wife, Celine, and two wonderful twin daughters, Alexandra and Nicole.
Dr. Gordon practices in three locations, two in New Jersey and one on Madison Ave. in Manhattan.
